Jackson Gillman received NSN’s Oracle Award in 2020 and has been performing throughout the country and provinces for 45+ years. He was featured at the national festival four times and has been a four-time Teller-in-Residence at the ISC.  He has taught college storytelling courses and is often tapped for private coaching by his colleagues. Jackson is widely respected for his inclusion of mime, dance, song and/or sign language in his work – whatever works best to bring a story to life. Sometimes that is just a simple telling of the quiet and quirks in daily life. And when all is said and sung, it is apparent that there is an underlying foundation of beneficence, hope and spirit infusing his work.
