The Timpanogos Storytelling Institute promotes language and literacy in schools by bringing storytelling experiences to our students throughout Utah. Supported by the Utah State Board of Education’s Professional Outreach Program in the Schools (POPS) and our devoted sponsors, students experience exceptional educational and cultural programs. Nationally acclaimed tellers are able to present assemblies and workshops for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity students may not otherwise be able to experience. In addition, through the Timpanogos Storytelling Conference and National Youth Storytelling (NYS), the next generation is learning the art of storytelling.

In January 2012, we formally incorporated as a nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status and established the Timpanogos Storytelling Institute. A board of directors oversees 17 different committees comprised of hundreds of volunteers who offer over 7,500 volunteer hours each year to present the Festival and its related programs.
