Location and Parking
The Timpanogos Storytelling Midwinter Conference and Saturday night's concert will be held at the Conference Center at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Parking is available free of charge in the visitor parking lots on the BYU campus. Thursday and Monday nights' concerts will take place at the Orem Public Library at 58 N. State St. in Orem and Friday night’s concert will be at Mountain View High School on 665 W. Center St. in Orem. Parking is available free of charge at the high school as well.
Lodging
A block of rooms at $59 per night has been reserved for attendees at the Super 8 Motel (formerly Quality Inn) until January 30, 2009. Includes a complimentary breakfast. Located across the street from BYU campus at 1555 N. Canyon Road in Provo. Call (801) 374-6020 to make reservations.

Airport Transportation
It is approximately a one-hour drive from the Salt Lake City International Airport to Provo. If you choose to take a shuttle, we strongly encourage you to make reservations ahead of time to avoid waiting at the airport. You can contact Xpress Shuttle at (800) 397-0773 / www.xpressshuttleutah.com.
Who May Attend
The storytelling conference is open to men and women age 13 and older. Logistical and safety constraints will not allow us to accommodate nursing infants or young children in any workshop. Evening concerts are recommended for children 8 and older unless otherwise noted.
Standards
Attendees to conferences and workshops at Brigham Young University are required to maintain the university standards (modesty in dress and conduct and abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, and harmful drugs) while on campus.
Substitutions and Cancellations
A $10 fee will be assessed for each refund requested. All refunds must be requested in writing. You may at any time arrange for a substitute to come in your place without penalty. After the start of the conference on February 6, 2009 no refund can be given.
FERPA Policy
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of your educational record. In order to be in compliance with FERPA, we require verification of your identity before releasing any personally identifiable or educational information to you.
